1. Provider and scope

These Terms govern accounts and use of the StreamShapers website, Ferryman, StreamShapers OGraf Builder and related services supplied by StreamShapers UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Hauptstr. 25, 23972 Dorf Mecklenburg, Germany. Our services are available to businesses and consumers. These Terms are presented for acceptance when registering, purchasing a plan or, where applicable, continuing to use a website account. Individually agreed terms take precedence for the services they cover. Mandatory consumer rights are not restricted by these Terms.

2. Accounts and personal licences

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. Each personal account and paid seat is assigned to one person; accounts and credentials must not be shared.

We grant the assigned user a non-exclusive licence to use the features available under their current plan on multiple working devices used by that person. This does not grant a right to redistribute, resell or sublicense StreamShapers software itself. Rights granted by applicable third-party or open-source licences and mandatory law remain unaffected.

Paid software and service access depends on the applicable plan and its period of access. The separate rights to your exported graphics in section 3 continue after paid access ends.

3. Your content and exported graphics

You retain your rights in your own content. In every plan, including Free, you may permanently use your own exported graphics commercially, in broadcasts and customer productions, deliver them to clients, redistribute them and sell them as templates. These permissions continue after cancellation, downgrade or the end of a subscription.

Where StreamShapers-owned runtime components are incorporated into an export, we permit their use and distribution as part of that export for these purposes. This permission does not extend to redistributing the editor, extension or other standalone StreamShapers software.

You must hold the necessary rights in imported fonts, images, footage, templates and other third-party material. Our permission cannot grant rights owned by others. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their respective licences and notices.

If you upload content to our cloud services, you authorize us to store, reproduce, display and process it only as necessary to provide and secure the requested service. This does not transfer ownership or permit us to market your content as our own.

4. Plans, prices and Paddle purchases

The Pricing page describes the features and current prices of Free, Pro, Studio and Enterprise: https://streamshapers.com/pricing. Prices are displayed in euros; applicable taxes, the billing frequency and the total payable are shown before payment.

For purchases processed by Paddle, the Paddle entity identified at checkout is the merchant of record and seller for the payment transaction. StreamShapers supplies the software and related services under these Terms. Paddle's applicable purchase, payment and refund conditions govern its part of the transaction; they do not replace the software permissions stated here.

5. Subscription periods, renewal and changes

Monthly subscriptions renew automatically for another month. Annual subscriptions are paid in advance for the full year and renew automatically for another year. Paddle charges the selected payment method for the applicable renewal unless the subscription has been cancelled. Mandatory rights concerning renewal, termination and refunds take precedence.

The existing subscription management options show the price and effective date before a plan, seat or billing-cycle change is confirmed. Changes taking effect during a billing period use the adjustment shown in the preview; scheduled changes apply on the displayed date. A change is not made merely by requesting a preview.

You can cancel through the Paddle management link in your billing settings or confirmation email, or without logging in at https://streamshapers.com/cancel-subscription. Ordinary cancellation normally stops the next renewal and leaves access available until the end of the paid period. Any earlier termination or refund required by mandatory law remains available.

6. Studio seats and Enterprise

Studio includes three personal seats. Additional seats use the Studio subscription's billing frequency and the price displayed before confirmation. An organization administrator assigns seats to employees or commissioned freelancers and must stay within the purchased seat limit.

A seat may be reassigned when the actual licensed user changes, but it must not be rotated to provide shared access to multiple users. Seat reductions cannot lower the purchased limit below the number of assigned seats.

Enterprise pricing, licensing, deployment and any service-level commitments are set out in an individual agreement. That agreement takes precedence for the matters it specifically covers.

7. Downgrades and cloud templates

After a downgrade, existing cloud templates remain accessible and editable while the account remains open. If their number exceeds the new plan's limit, no new templates can be created until the account is below the applicable limit. A downgrade does not by itself delete existing templates.

Ending paid access does not revoke the export permissions in section 3. Keep your own copies of important content and exports. Account deletion is different from a downgrade and can remove account content, subject to necessary legal retention obligations.

8. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds

Cancellation of future renewals and withdrawal from a contract are different declarations. You may submit a withdrawal without logging in at https://streamshapers.com/withdrawal, or contact us at contact@streamshapers.com. Paddle's purchase-specific withdrawal and refund information is linked in section 4. We do not offer an additional voluntary money-back guarantee; statutory rights and the applicable Paddle rules remain unaffected.

Our public forms record your declaration and its time of receipt, provide a copy and arrange an email acknowledgement. We then check the contract and manually process the matter with Paddle where applicable. The acknowledgement records receipt, not an already executed cancellation or refund. Administrative processing does not postpone a legal effect that has already occurred on receipt.

You do not need a StreamShapers login or an internal Paddle identifier to use these forms. Provide enough information to identify the contract. A reason is not required to exercise a statutory withdrawal right.

9. Acceptable use and security

Do not use the service to infringe third-party rights, store or distribute unlawful material, access another person's data without authorization, introduce malware, bypass access controls or intentionally disrupt the service.

Do not redistribute StreamShapers software or circumvent personal-seat restrictions except where expressly permitted. Restrictions on analysis, modification or reverse engineering do not apply to conduct permitted by mandatory law, including applicable software interoperability rights, or by a relevant open-source licence.

10. Availability, updates and statutory remedies

Maintenance and updates may temporarily affect availability. We aim to keep interruptions proportionate and provide notice where reasonably possible. Unless individually agreed, we do not promise uninterrupted availability, a specific service level or a fixed support response time.

Statutory conformity, update, warranty and remedy obligations remain unaffected. Product changes do not allow us to disregard agreed core features or mandatory notice, consent and termination rights. Compatibility requirements are described with the respective product.

11. Liability

We remain fully liable for intentional misconduct and gross negligence, culpable injury to life, body or health, fraudulent concealment of defects, guarantees we expressly assume and liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the German Product Liability Act.

For ordinary negligence outside those cases, we are liable for breach of an essential contractual obligation on which proper performance depends and on whose fulfilment a user may ordinarily rely. In that case liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Other liability for ordinary negligence is excluded only to the extent permitted by law.

These limitations also apply to our representatives and persons performing our obligations, but do not remove mandatory consumer remedies.

12. Suspension, termination and account deletion

We may restrict access proportionately where there is a concrete security risk, unlawful activity or a material or repeated breach of these Terms. Where practicable and lawful, we explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy a remediable breach before suspension or termination. Immediate action may be necessary to prevent harm or comply with law. You may contact us to contest a restriction.

Deleting an account does not itself cancel a Paddle subscription or erase records that must legally be retained. Account deletion may remain blocked while an active billing relationship exists, including after a cancellation has been scheduled for a future date. Use the cancellation options first and contact us if account deletion remains unavailable after billing has ended.

13. Changes to these Terms

Each published version is dated and remains available as a downloadable snapshot. We may propose changes to reflect legal requirements, security needs or changes to the service, explaining material changes and their intended effective date in advance where required.

Material changes to existing contractual rights require a valid legal basis or agreement. Continued use or silence alone is not treated as acceptance of a material contractual change. A request to accept new Terms does not prevent access to account management, cancellation, withdrawal or existing statutory rights.

14. Applicable law and contact

German law applies. Consumers retain the mandatory protections available under the law of their habitual residence where applicable, and statutory jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.

Refund policy for purchases through Paddle

You may request a discretionary refund within 14 days of the transaction date for a purchase processed by Paddle. Submit your request at paddle.net or through the support link in your Paddle receipt.

Paddle reviews each request under its Refund Policy and may approve a full or partial refund or decline the request. Requesting a refund within 14 days does not guarantee approval. StreamShapers does not offer an additional voluntary money-back guarantee.

This 14-day request window does not restrict any applicable statutory withdrawal rights or other mandatory rights, including rights relating to defective products. This information explains Paddle's refund process separately from the versioned StreamShapers Terms below. It applies only to purchases processed by Paddle.
